In this immersive hands on day you will gain valuable insights into foot anatomy, biomechanics, and common issues that impact your clients. Learn how to assess alignment, spot potential problems, and incorporate a tailored foot program to enhance your clients’ wellbeing and help them to develop strong, flexible feet.
This workshop was developed for Pilates teachers who want to learn more about the feet. To enhance their knowledge base, learn useful, relevant and applicable skills for their clients. By the end of the day you will have gained a wealth of foot based knowledge along with skills that you can use with your clients immediately.
Timetable
10:00-10:15 | Welcome & Introduction |
10:15-11:30 | Foot Anatomy recap, Bones, Muscles, Nerves, Ligaments, Blood Supply. Foot Arches. |
11:30-11:40 | Snacks and movement break. |
11:40-12:45 | Hands on, Foot Mobilisation Techniques, Foot Assessments. |
12:45-13:30 | Lunch in the Garden (weather permitting) |
13:30-14:00 | Foot Care for Clients. (Time to delve into your goodie bag). |
14:00-14:30 | Common Foot Pathologies & the uses of Orthotics. |
14:30-14:40 | Movement/Refreshment break. |
14:40-16:40 | How to transfer what you find from your foot assessment into exercises/movements using the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, & Props. |
16:40-17:00 | Round up of the day. Q&A. |

Teachers who attend the course receive an hour zoom call to ask follow up questions etc post workshop. Valid for 6 months
